Anclote Key Preserve State Park is an undeveloped barrier island off Tarpon Springs, accessible only by boat. The island offers pristine beaches facing the Gulf of Mexico in a wild and protected environment. Kitesurfing is reserved for advanced riders due to complete isolation and lack of any infrastructure. A historic 1887 lighthouse marks the southern tip of the island.
