Great Peconic Bay is a kitesurf spot located on the large Peconic Bay, between the north and south forks of Long Island. This vast body of water offers excellent fetch and varied conditions depending on wind direction. One of the best spots in the area for bay kiting.

Tidal currents in the bay. Heavy recreational boat traffic in summer. Significant fetch that can create notable chop in strong winds. Cold water outside summer season.
