Point Lookout is a kitesurfing spot at the southern tip of Maryland's western peninsula, where the Potomac River meets the Chesapeake Bay. This historic state park, a former Civil War prisoner camp, offers a unique setting at the confluence of two major bodies of water. The peninsula tip position provides exceptional wind exposure from all directions with immense fetch into the bay and the Potomac. One of the best wind spots in Maryland.
