Happy Valley is a kitesurf spot located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, south of Caloundra. The spot is on a section of ocean beach that benefits from good exposure to the dominant southeast trade winds of the region. Wind conditions are reliable from October to March with trade winds blowing between 15 and 25 knots. The wind arrives side-shore to side-onshore, offering good conditions for wave kitesurfing. The bottom is sandy and waves are moderate in size, between 0.5 and 1.5 m depending on the swell. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The beach offers enough space for setup.
