The spot benefits from the legendary Maestrale that funnels through this channel with great power. The pristine, uninhabited setting with extraordinary turquoise water makes it a unique destination. Access is typically by boat from Stintino. The combination of powerful wind and spectacular scenery attracts experienced riders seeking adventure.

Parking

Park in Stintino, then take a boat to the island. Stintino has full tourist services (restaurants, accommodation, rental boats). Coordinate boat logistics before your session.

Hazards

Island access requires a boat or swim — plan logistics carefully. Very powerful Maestrale around Capo Falcone and the Asinara channel. Rocky shores all around the island. No facilities and no rescue service. Only for experienced riders with proper safety equipment.
