Is Arenas is a stunning kitesurf spot on the west coast of Sardinia, in the Oristano region, featuring one of the longest and most unspoilt stretches of dunes on the island. The beach extends for several kilometres behind a vast pine forest, with the Maestrale (northwest) blowing consistently in summer. The wild and remote character of Is Arenas — a protected dune system — makes it one of the most spectacular natural settings for kiting in Sardinia.

Parking accessible via the SP49 road from Riola Sardo or Narbolia. Long sandy track through the pine forest — 4WD recommended. No facilities on site. Bring food, water and all equipment.
Military zone nearby — respect all access restrictions. Strong Maestrale with gusts. Rocky sections at the ends of the beach. Remote location — bring all necessary equipment and go with a buddy.
