Fonyod is a kitesurfing spot on the southern shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary. The spot is located opposite Badacsony hill on the northern shore. The water is shallow on the south side. Prevailing winds come from the northwest. It is a popular spot for wind sports on Lake Balaton. Suitable for beginners and intermediates.
