Overview

Manta Rota is a quiet resort town in eastern Algarve near the Spanish border. Wide sandy beach, warm shallow waters. Works well with Levante (east wind) — a good alternative to the Nortada spots when the wind swings east. Also catches SW thermal in summer. Less crowded than western Algarve spots.
