Overview

Sanguessuga is a small beach just south of São Torpes, between the power station and Porto Covo. Remote, uncrowded, and rugged — part of the wild Alentejo coastline within the Vicentine Coast Natural Park. Sandy bottom with some rocky patches. NW Nortada cross-shore. Suitable for experienced riders comfortable with no facilities or rescue. Beautiful but exposed.
