Overview

Barra (Posto 3 / Kitebeach) is the ocean side kite spot of the Ria de Aveiro system. Located near the lighthouse at the lagoon's mouth, it offers ocean riding with waves while the lagoon is just 100m behind the dunes for flat water. NW Nortada comes side-onshore. Popular kite beach with good infrastructure. Dual access: waves on the ocean, flat in the Ria.
