Nice spot with depression winds (south, southwest), plenty of space on the side of the beach to inflate and rig. Launch from a short beach with large pebbles, wind quite disturbed by trees if the wind is directly from the south. Kite launch toward the water, landing as well. Quickly gets deep. Even with significant wind, few or no waves. Rather troughs and chop. The harbor is directly below, you need to be sure you can go upwind. Not for beginners. On the water, be careful of boats (regular lines and sailboats), and wings and windsurfers launching from the other side of the harbor. There is a nice panel to create a fixed point and set up your kite alone toward the water.

Technical details of Ipsach spot
Local association recommendations
Important: Ipsach kitesurf spot:
At the Ipsach kite spot, there is currently a threat of a new kite ban for the months of July and August. This is due to safety issues on the beach caused by kiters.
It is very important that all kiters respect the rules:
Make absolutely sure that in the coming weeks and months, if possible, no negative incidents occur that could negatively influence the community's attitude toward Kite | Wing.
No kites on the beach, except during launching and landing.
All kiters must behave decently and considerately on the bathing lawn, on the beach, and also in the parking lot.
Swimmers and especially children always have priority.
In the swimming area, inside the buoys, there is an absolute kite ban - body dragging to exit AND return is mandatory
Know when to give up a session, for example with light or unstable wind, gusty conditions, or if your kiting skills are insufficient (Ipsach is generally unsuitable for beginners!) or with a high density of swimmers and users of the bathing lawns.

Hazards
Side Shore - you must be able to go upwind Small beach - if you get carried away 20 or 30 meters, the kite will be in the harbor or trees Not easy to land alone. It's gusty, and there's not much margin with the harbor behind. Don't hesitate to do a self rescue from the top of the beach, attach the leash to the panel, and go retrieve your kite on the water. Regular line boats, sailboats... the lake is narrow at this spot. The spot also works with Joran wind, but be careful as it can suddenly become very strong
Wind specificities
The depression wind S-SW can be quite consistent. Apart from the launch, once on the water there are no obstacles to disturb the wind. Side shore wind, no walk of shame possible...
