Overview

Plage de Kerguelen is a FFVL-approved kitesurf spot at Larmor-Plage (Morbihan, Brittany), home to one of the largest sailing schools in France. Respect for all beach users is essential.

Best winds are from South to South-West. The spot is accessible by bus from Lorient (lines 32, 51 and 54, stop "Larmor Plage - Parc Océanique"). Parking 30m from the beach at the nautical centre.

Hazards

Rocks in the middle of the beach — visible at low tide. SNSM lifeguard supervision from July 1 to August 31. Respect all beach users, especially the sailing school students.
