Amazing "double spot" that works in all wind directions. On the sea side, you catch SW winds, and on the lagoon side, the NE winds. You need to check the tides carefully: the lagoon is rideable at high tide, the sea side at low tide (to cross the empty lagoon). If the tide is high and you want to go to the sea side, you can park at the Kerler beach parking lot and walk for a while (passing the nudist beach), or better from the west at the Cor de Groasguen point (faster).
The lagoon looks like the Caribbean, shallow water, super flat surface, beautiful sand.
On the sea side, there are no waves.

At low tide, you can park next to the UCPA, or at the Cor de Groasguen point (or Pointe Saint Gilles campsite). At high tide, use the Kerler beach parking lot but it's quite a long walk.
At falling tide, the lagoon empties quickly so there is current where the water flows out. On the eastern part of the water area, it's shallower (foil impossible) and there are some annoying rocks for your feet.
Best wind: south and east on the Lagoon side even though it's an enclosed sea so everything is possible. On the sea side, it's classic, you get the SW winds.
