Shirley's Bay is a bay on the Ottawa River west of Ottawa, adjacent to the Shirley's Bay military site (DND). The bay offers semi-sheltered water with access to the open river. Alternative to Britannia Beach, slightly further west.
Access from municipal park. Parking available. North, west, and east winds are all favorable thanks to the river and bay orientation. Watch for restrictions related to the adjacent military base.

Adjacent military base — respect exclusion zones. Ottawa River current. Boat traffic. Rocky bottom in places. Do not drift into the main river current.
