Playa Honda is a long, spacious beach near Arrecife airport on the southeast coast of Lanzarote. It's become increasingly popular with kitesurfers as an alternative to Famara when the wind blows from the east.
The beach offers flat water and huge space with very few people. Best conditions with easterly wind (side-onshore). When the wind shifts to blow from the land (west), it pushes offshore and becomes unsuitable.
The proximity to the airport makes it the most accessible spot for quick sessions.
Flat water, spacious beach. Good for freeride and freestyle. Less crowded alternative to Famara. Schools sometimes operate here on east wind days.

Best with easterly wind (side-onshore). The east wind is the alternative to the NE trade that fills Famara. 15–25 knots. Kites 8–12m.
